Coming April 30 – The Rowena Crest/Tom McCall Preserve, best visited from April through early May, features a vibrant display of wildflowers, notably yellow arrowleaf balsamroot and purple lupine. 

Rowena Crest is a stunning viewpoint which looks down on Mayer State Park and the gorge.  The view also includes the iconic Rowena Loops – the horseshoe curves that wind up the viewpoint are “a true engineering marvel” and extremely photogenic.
